    Default 4 Wheel 2014

My instructor told me this week-end that BPR was discontinuing the 4 wheel 2014. I have seen pictures of it. He said Texas would not registrar them or allow them on the Texas roads. Is this this true and are there other state with this same issue?

What kind of 4 wheel are you taking about , ATV Or Motorcycle? If it's the Motorcycle they've always been ''Not'' legal for street use, Once you have 4 wheels it becomes a car and has to meet ALL the requirements that all cars have to have., i.e., Airbag ,seat belts, etc, etc....

A friend of mine in Minnesota told me that a 4-wheeler can be allowed state motorcycle tags as long as the vehicle has brake and signal lights. He also mentioned that it cannot be driven on interstates and has the same norms as a scooter. I haven't asked him if he ever got to do it...
May all your encounters with the law begin with the words: "nice trike!".[/B]

I'm guessing this is about the side-by-side ATV. The dealer I bought my Spyder from in MO said they were illegal to drive on basically any road in MO. Oddly enough he mentioned that some back rural country marked roads were permissible. Maybe it's going to change? I doubt that out in the sticks where you know your local sheriff that it'll be problem when you're driving between pasture lands on a dirt road. Trying to take it on a paved road and I'd be there would be a problem.

Regardless, in Missouri at least, its a no-go on any road. It probably varies state to state.

You can ride anything on Oregon roads, if you put a "farm vehicle" triangle on the back…...

    Default 4 Wheeler

I'm only the messenger. I saw pictures and it was suppose to be a motorcycle and go faster then a and have a big motor and large tires. Like I said only the messenger. The same guy that told me I could shift the from 1st to 2nd @15 mph was the same guy that told me about the 4 wheel. Didn't I also see some BMW's with 3&4 wheels? I don't believe I have actually seen one in person. Has anyone else seen the BMW's?
