I went with the Ultimate tall boy with the fuel door and no back rest. It gives me better support and my butt doesn't hurt. Granted the factory seat had 20k miles on it and the foam was pretty soft. I'm 6'0" ant the "tall boy" sits me farther back and I am more upright. But the hard part is you never know how a new seat fits you until you try.

Neither i or the wifey could sit on the OEM very long. We went with the kontour seat and luckily it pleased both of us. More my luck becuase she would have shot me if it wasnt more comfy....

It also flows air very nicely through the area. Very good in the summer, can be a bit chilly in the winter. I'd prefer not to sweat. No problem if it rains.

http://kontourseat.com You do have to send them your seat to be rebuilt and your choice of colors as long as its black-)

I did not do the passenger back rest, yes on the driver. Wanted to make sure it was good first.

Did you send them your Utopia backrest? It looks a lot like a Utopia.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the stock seat; 4, 600-plus mile days getting back and forth to SpyderFest proved that it's comfortable...
But I've got the Utopia order filled out, and ready for the "Go" signal...
