What is the hysteresis of that gauge? To maintain the tires < 0.5 psig difference you need a gauge that is repeatable to 0.1 psig. Most gauges will vary a couple of pounds usually.

There's a chintzy air pressure gage in my tool kit??? I'll have to check.

All safety related money I spend for the Spyder, comes out of the our general fund and do not effect the balance of my Spyder fix, ride and farkle fund. IYKWIM

I have found what I would call an "expanded scale" air gauge that is super accurate.
When I say expanded scale I mean it is expecting air pressures between 10 and 60 thus the entire dial covers that range.
It is used in RC aircraft retract systems.
More coming on this as I test it.

I'm still interested, too! You should market these. They are perfect for Spyders! PM me with a when and how much!

Just placed my order using PayPal. Thanks . . . looking forward to this. It will make checking tire pressure a lot easier for the front!

Not that it matters but when I was racing Nascar Modifieds we had at least a half dozen tires gages besides the digital ones. Tire pressures at the start of a race with bias tires was around 18 pounds. Each year they were sent to Longacre for repairs and recalibration. Very inexpensive to have them done.
So now where do I find this spyder guage. Was it to come with the spider or is it an aftermarket purchase? Don't recall it in the manual but you know how guy's are with those. I learned 10 times more here !

My 2014 didn't include a pressure gauge.
I was looking for one in my tool kit to prepare for SpyderQuest, but I found the pressure gauge was missing.
I called up my dealer. I was told BRP had so many issues with these being inaccurate, they just stopped including them in the tool kit.
So I went to the local auto parts store and bought one. No big deal.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

Check / Fix your BRP Pressure Gauge

I gave up trying to find a gauge with a hysteresis below 0.5 psig to balance the tire pressure and just fill them both at the same time now. Even if I'm off by 2 lbs at least the Spyder goes straight down the highway when both front tires are at the same pressure.
JT
I have Thornton's device that fills the front tires simultaneously and it is a superb innovation. I use it on my cars also.
