I will be arriving on August 8th, on a 6,800 miles ride over 14 days.

I have been told you need to see Sturgis twice. Once to see the circus and, the next time to see the scenery. I have been thinking about going out this month ( before the circus starts ), but I have to see how funds are.

I got to go in Sept. so I didn't see the circus. I was great riding all the routes and could look around at ease!!!!!!!

I'm going. Plan to arrive on Aug. 2nd or 3rd. Staying at Buffalo Chip. First time and probably last time I will go, it's on my bucket list!!

We will be heading out to "Spyders in the Redwoods" Sonora CA August 5th thru the 8th. But I'm sure it will live up to it's rep...!! Enjoy...

Take about 300,000 HD's and the assorted people that are on them, add in a whole bunch of other bikes and riders, have a large drinking and other things party that lasts about a week, and you have a kind of a circus.

And yes, I have been there during the festivities.

Real close, there are things that only go on there !! It is worth the trip to go.

We'll be in the area next week and plan on cruising thru....just so we can "get the t-shirt" and say we've been there. We're to old and "fluffy" to participate in the August bacchanalia. Been "rode hard and put away wet" too many times already.
