If you move your hand off of the left grip; you'll NEVER be able to find the horn, turnsignals, stereo controls, windshield adjustments, or shifter again!

Some Spyder ryders take preemptive umbrage at being ignored by Harley riders.

"Pre-emptive Umbrage"... I like that!
The Spyder ride might also be surfing the web with their dash-mounted IPad; searching for the latest accessory for their bike!

Never thought of that . . . right hand waives would certainly raise an eyebrow or two among those poor folks that are challenged by the lack of a third wheel!

People who still use training wheels should never take a hand off the bars for something as trivial as a wave.

Too many cataracts to discern if a wave was initiated
Too busy admiring their recently installed LED illuminated fenders, mudflaps, mirrors, and turn signals

Spyder ryders don't wave? Was this something I missed at the dealer indoctrination?? I apologize to ya'll for violating Spyder etiquette! I've been waving, even at H/D riders. I see the error of my ways and will cease and desist immediately!

Why spyder owners don't wave at other bikers:
1) That sort of movement would most certainly disrupt the delicate vehicle stability system and throw you into limp mode.
2) It doesn't say in the owners manual to wave at passing bikers
3) Too busy staring at the tach monitoring RPM's to notice other motorists
What can you come up with? Let's have fun with this
My instructor at the motorcycle school said after I told him I had a Spyder he said "you don't have a real motorcycle", So I just wave one finger.

Not to bright, for an instructor.....a motorized bi-wheeled cycle and a motorized tri-wheeled cycle are both motorcycles. I imagine a motorized unicycle would even be called a motorcycle. I guess a one-fingered wave still counts as a wave, too.

Most of the time I'll wave, some people on metric cruisers, some Harley's, but most of the no- wavers have been the full- dress Harley's, gold wings, or crotch rockets(who are too busy trying to impress their gf's by going Mach 2.
EVERY spyder I wave to waves back!!

Wave
1. If I wave I might miss my proper shift point.
2. If I wave I might hit the horn button and not the up shift paddle button.
3. If I wave I might lose my newbie hand grip and start the weeble wobbly steering syndrome again.
4. If I wave I just know the get your hands back on the bar jab me in the ribs governor while get me AGAIN! Same thing goes for a double thumbs up sign.
5. If I wave I know I will get the " that's my job speech AGAIN,"
6. My remedy for not waving is I use the spring activated head light switch and blink my headlamps 1/2 to 1/4 mile before they get to me and my jab in the ribs governor is none the wiser

Milkshake in one hand, foot long coney (xtra cheese) in the other; steering with knees. Would be unsafe to wave!!

I used to give the one finger wave and than an old vet at the VA told me one day you will be getting that one finger wave. I really didn't know what he meant but, as I grew older I did and now give a 3 finger wave to all.
