Default How's this for Naming our Spyders?

Ok...many of us have named our Spyders.

I got my 08 GS in July of 08 and casually referred to him as Spydy, even getting a custom license plate of SPYDY. A month ago I got a 2012 (new) RT-S Limited and decided I needed to name that one as well...so when Some Girl asks which Spyder I rode, I can be specific.

I decided to name them Number One and Number Two.

    Logic:
Number One was my first Spyder and it's Yellow.
Number Two is my second Spyder and it's Brown.

    Make sense?

Number One: 2008 Yellow GS SM5. I love my Spyder.
Number Two: 2012 RT-S Limited (the poop colored RT) I still have Number One, but Some Girl made me buy Number Two...

No! Your GS should keep it's name of Spydy and your RT should be named Re Tired

If I only could retire (I'm not old enough) then I could ride all the time, eh!

Hmm...now that I think of it, aren't you retiring soon?!

With those designations and those colors, those names sure could be misconstrued!

As a former wastewater professional, however, I love them!

So... Does number one get parked at the front of the garage, and number two in the back?

    Not misconstrued...you have it right!

It's a good thing Some Girl isn't actually a member! She thinks it's her "chocolate covered" Spyder!

I was thinking more of misconstrued by the vehicles. I named my first RT the Hippo, and it turned against me in retaliation. At least you didn't use the four letter equivalents. When is Pete making up the new labels for you?

Mine is an 09 RS with the name of Adrenalin. Cause when she is ridden properly that's what fuels my rush! :-) sadly Missouri personal license plates require at least 1 number, so when I move there, I will have to go with ADRN7N instead of ADRNLN.
    RS - 55K+ miles, F3 - 200 miles and counting.

My '09 RS was named "Sam" the Can Am because I just liked the sound of it.

And my present ride is a '12 RT-S named "Ida" the Spyder. Also like the sound of it but it also works with "if I knew the RT's were so smooth and comfortable compared to my old RS, "Ida" got one sooner!

By the way my trusty Garmin Nuvi 550 has been with me for four bikes now, 2 Harley's, My RS and now my RT. He's named "Marvin the Garmin"!

    Default Roadster's Name

I will disclose his name when I can get the Vanity Plate for Him. Starting to look like maybe Dec 2013??

My Avatar could be a clue.

My garmin zumo is named Abigail. Miss Abigail get rather intimate on long distance trips. She often tends to all of my needs, but sometimes, she leads me to places I don't want to go. She is still my girl....

I call it the " Iron Horse " when I am not mad at it. However, haven't been that mad to call it anything else.
