    Default BahaRons swaybar mod.

Just got rons bar for my 2013 RT, did not like the way it handles in corners, was wondering if there are any other RTs in the forum with this mod and what are your thoughts on it, also any installation pointers would be great thanks

Absolutely the best mod you can get, IMO. It will dramatically improve the handling around curves. I bought some car ramps at Harbor Freight and pulled the 2 front tires into them. Made installation a breeze.

    Good luck!

I know you're asking about the '13 and mine is a '11 for which I had added Elka's, which helped considerably, but when I added the bars earlier this year, it was even a much greater improvement. I think, If I had put the bars on first, I wouldnt have needed the Elkas. One gets used to these fixes after awhile and I didn't actually realize how nice they are until I rode one of the new '13 RT's at MV and found that it didnt handle anywhere near as good as mine. Had the good fairy said "Hey buddy, I'll give you the '13 for your old '11, but you can't make any changes to it" I'd have said NO THANKS!

    Default Sway bar

I have a 2011 and put the sway bar on first mod made all the difference in handling, later I did the pitbull relocators which I believe the 2013 don't benifit from if I have it right but the sway bar was beer money well spent.

I'm one of his 2013 testers... And I saw a great improvement!! Doing the Dragon with the trailer was fun! Nanny only activated on me once, and I was going the speed limit more than I should have (wife was yelling at me over the intercom on her "let me catch up!! ).

I had it installed at Spyderfest and I certainly put it to the test at Maggie Valley

I cant imagine what the rides would have been like without it

I was also one of the test pilots for the 2013 and it really improves the handling in the corners. If you are doing the install yourself you will need to be able to lift the Spyder high enough to be able to drop the old one straight down to get it off

I was also testing the new RT bar on my 2013. I had it on at the Maggie Valley event. It eliminates all the side to side wobble. I am going to do a better write up on it once I get home. I have elkas on also and after I installed the bar I had to loosen the elkas a good bit. This also leads me to believe that if you install this bar with stock shocks it will most likely make everything perfect. Ill post more once I get to a computer. But if anyone is on the fence about buying it , dont be. Go ahead and get it on the way.

Ditto - this mod made a major change to my bike. I can't believe Can Am didn't make it stock! It truly changes the nature of my 2011.

Actually Erick/Bullant12 has Ron's sway bar for the 2013 RT-S. Erick gave an excellent critique about two weeks ago. I "may" consider getting it, but at this point I'm quite happy with the way mine handles. Mine corners very well.

I jumped to be a tester so that could experience differences between the OEM and Ron's modification. But before I got BajaRon's SwayBar (and after I got the ball joints replaced) I was content with my OEM swaybar. But if you are a hard rYder and like to do twisties in a fast pace, the Anti-Sway bar modification is the way to go!

Then the above is endorsement enough to persuade me that purchasing the sway bar would be a good improvement.

The improvement in the ride far outways the cost of the product.

We were staying in the same place next to each other and never got to hang out... We should have gone riding and then switched to feel the difference.

    Next event I guess!
