What you have to do is click on link, then download, then direct download, open, then print, that's how I just printed it and it is clear. I can also link it with an excel file if someone needs.

Is there a way we could pay through paypal? It is a pain for Canadians to get a cheque to you in US funds.

    Just sayin'............
Three in the garage, and I think I can fit at least one more in.....and then we will have to build another garage.
The roads in NY are so bad that I am glad we bought a Ryker Rally

I believe the answer would be yes, but you would have to confirm that with arntufun. I know they take a % and we have talked about this and we would prefer a check, but maybe in this case. I would still need the form, cause that is the way we are keeping track of who is doing what. Randy (arntufun) hopefully will pick this up, if not PM him.

I saw a post somewhere that spelled out everything that was happening that week? I can't find it to print? I see there is a Event tab! Can SpyderQuest be put under that tab? Or have a icon like Spyderfest had to make it easy for everyone to find?

    Spyderquest 2013 *****Official Thread*****

    Attachment 66309

Not too long ago....... the only event in the Northeast put on by another website was cancelled. After much thought and some encouragement from Lamont, a few of us deceided to take the bull by the horns and create a Northeast event of our own. This is how Spyderquest was born.

This will be the thread to find all the information you will need to know about this event filled Spyder gathering. We will provide as many details as we can as we nail them down in hopes to show you that this event should not be missed by anyone. We hope to make this Spyderquest a little different from the rest to provide change to others that attend multiple events each year.

To be completly honest we do not have the manpower, experience or sponsorship (as of today), but if you look at our itinerary you should be quite pleased with what's in store for you. I personally promise to work as hard as possible on this, you have my word (as well as my fellow NY Spyder Riding family).

Itinerary may/will be adjusted as needed, so check back often.

    Thursday September 19th
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Opening day ceremony- Lake George RV Park- http://www.lakegeorgervpark.com/

After your ride into Lake George from your home, we will be gathering at the best RV park I have ever had the pleasure of going to. This RV park will also be the host RV Campground for Spyderquest (sorry, no tent sites). We have rented the Bingo pavilion which holds hundreds and will provide cover if mother nature decides to throw us a curve ball. You are invited to arrive early and use all the parks amenities all day long which includes an indoor heated pool, so dont forget your trunks and towel. Cost to enter the park is $8.00

Location Bingo pavilion inside the park
    ---------------------------------------------
2 or 3pm Start------ Come gather and meet with friends of old and start to make new ones.
5pm BBQ Dinner catered/ tbd of price, I'm working on it and hoping to keep it in the 15 per person range.
6.30 pm is Farkle Bingo---- working on getting vendors to sponsor this for prizes.
10-11 pm shut down and clear out. Sorry we have a full few days ahead of us.
(Music will be provided by MP3 for your enjoyment at the parvilion before dinner and after Bingo)

This RV park has a cafe and store if you are arriving early which even sells beer. We are not promoting or will be judging you. All we are asking is, if you do...... please do so responsibly.

    Friday September 20th
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Adirondack Ride and Hot Air Balloon Festival

This will be our large guided group ride (Rnet,Cleg) through some of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains and will wind up back in Queensbury, NY later that day to attend the Adirondack Balloon Festival. We will meet for breakfest at a place TBD begin our day from there.

While at the Balloon Festival you will be able to see 80+ hot air ballons take off at 5pm (if the weather permits). This is absolutely a breath taking site to see. Food vendors and a craft fair will also be on location to satisfy all your needs. Admission is free, parking is a donation.
Balloon Festival link here -------> http://www.adirondackballoonfest.org/schedule.asp

    Saturday September 21st
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
Casino, Ride and Dinner Cruise Day

This closing day is jam packed with things to do. Eat breakfest, fill up with fuel and we will ride to the Saratoga Casino and Raceway by 10 am to try our luck for a couple of hours. This place has over 1500 slots, video roulette, poker and craps.

At 12pm we will gather to have a buffet lunch right in the casino (Garden Buffet) before we head out on our ride. Price for lunch is $12.95 per person (all you can eat and drink).
    link to Casino-------------> http://saratogacasino.com/Home.aspx

Ride will be announced soon.-----Rnet, Cleg

After our ride we saved the best event for last..................
At 530 pm we will start boarding Lake George's biggest ship to take over a two hour dinner cruise on beautiful Lake George. Dinner will be buffet style with main courses being fish, chicken, pasta and a meat carving station among many sides. Tickets for this will have to be purchased directly from them at a cost of $43.50 per person. Parking directly across from the ship is $10.00 so if you want to find another place to park in the village, by all means do.

Link to Lake George Steamboat Co. -----------> http://lakegeorgesteamboat.com/cruises/meal/dinner/

Post if you can make it and how many people will be in your party. This is very important that you post so we get a accurate count for the food on opening day.
As you can see Spyderquest is packed with lots of fun and different things to do. I will add any further developments to this post and thread. Please join us and help to make Spyderquest a must do for all Spyder owners. Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them or find out for you.

    Thanks to our Commitee

    Default question on registration

I am pretty sure that we would not be able to make it there until Friday due to having to work. Is the $35 registration for all 3 days or just for the BBQ?

This will be our first year participating. Like others we are coming down from Canada (Ottawa, Ontario) so a paypal link is easier for us (my dad had a bad time trying to get his bank to accept my US funds Canadian check).

Dave & I look forward to getting to know other Spyder lovers and are especially looking forward to this ride!

Registration primarily cover the opening day stuff, the bbq and a shirt per. So if you can't make Thursday just fill out the rides you are going on and any shirts you may want, Total and send it in. Make sure you get your address, phone, and user name on there so if I have any question I can call or pm you. If you want to make a donation to help, it would much be appreciated.

Filled out the registration and mailed it with a US money order (as we are in Canada). How can I confirm if you receive our registration in time? Can I email a scanned copy to you just to confirm? We are so looking forward to this adventure - our first out of town rally!

    Default Spydwequest

I was raised in northern Vermont just a stone throw from Lake George. I can't go because it's too far from Texas. It would be a leap of faith for me to go that far and God forbid they have bad weather, and have to turn around in Pa. I'm not trying to put a damper on the Spyderquest and wish you all a very great and successful time. I will say this to the lover you will never see foliage any more spectacular then that area in September. Except of course in Vermont, and that gives me an idea. The people that are traveling from the south up to Lake George after the Spyderquest ride over to Vermont and down through New Hampshire. It will be worth it. You have to take a chance on a place to stay. Most of the places to stay are booked a year in advance. Again god luck.

    Default LAKE GEORGE

    Good evening All,

At the risk of sounding somewhat ignorant, I have some questions.

Since I have never been to this type of show, what normally happens, are the trikes up for show, with the owners close by to discuss mods and stuff.

Will there be vendors on site during Spyderquest.

Can anyone attend the show as visitors, without having to register.

    Thanks

    Dom

welcome aboard freewheelin! I don't think you are the only one who thought this. I have seen many posts of people who said they were coming and had made reservations but haven't seen their name on the registration list. I am in the process of cross-referencing all the posts with the names on the list and pm'ing all those who have shown interest. looking forward to meeting you!
