    Default non-rinse waterless washing solutions

I have searched and have not yet found a solution that fits both requirements.

I am needing to find a good way to clean my spyder even if it has bug and dirt on it (not caked on or mud) with out being able to rinse it off as I don't have access to a water hose. Any recommendations on non-rinse waterless washing solutions?

These guys have good stuff. I use the detail spray on spots between washes. I have not used the waterless wash, but their other stuff is good. You can find a coupon code every now and then. The detail spray smells good too. Not cheap, but an option.

This is the one that's used around here..but, with it, or any that are of similar chemistry, be careful because the flat black plastic on you spyder 'does not' like the stuff. It leaves almost irremovable whites marks. fwiw

Actually, I sell this. And the way around that is to spray it on your microfiber cloth BEFORE you pass in on your plastic.

I use Windex Multi-Purpose Cleaner with Vinegar. Don't use regular Windex with Ammonia! If things are real dirty, I often take a bucket of water and numerous rags and towels out there. Using a California Car Duster before you spray anything on it is a great help, too...and is all you need if it is just dusty or covered with pollen.

I know! It works great on cars but had to figure out the white streaks issue. My distributor taught me that trick...

For the Flat Black try SC1 It leaves a slight gloss to the surface (no more white marks) Most bike dealers stock it.

We have used this for the past 2-3 years our motor coach, cars, and our . It works very well - easy to use, quick, and makes bugs easy to remove. I do our 40 ft. Coach in about an hour with about 3 oz of the spray, so it's pretty cost and time effective. The takes about 10-15 min, depending on how dirty he is. I keep a small spray bottle & a couple of microfiber towels in the frunk, and do a quick once over b/4 putting on the travel cover when on the road. It's the only thing that the has had used on him...no soap & water so far...And out west where there are perpetual water use restrictions, it's great!!

This cleaner and polish works incredibly well. I think it's the same as the Honda cleaner but a lot cheaper and can be found in a lot more places:

I use Griott's Spray on Car Wash. It cleans and shines without scratching or swirl marks. I use it on my Corvette also.

    Default cleaning

I use a deionized water system that I found to rinse, first I wash with a commercial car wash solution and a soft non scratching sponge then rinse with the water. Because it is deionized it does not require drying and leaves no spots. I use a pressure washer and stand off this actually uses less water and minimizes the risk of water damage. You can use a air hose or a small leave blower if you want to blow around the seams to speed up the drying, my friend does this when he details cars. The deionize system requires little maintenance and has the additional use of washing all the windows on the outside of the house which makes me a wife hero and frees up riding time.

Meguiars quick detailer in the spray bottle. Been using it for years on the skis and now on the Spyder. Works great.

x`s two! I`ve found that too much of any chemical creates some problem down the road. whether it`s white streaks, or gloss where it used to be matte, something is going to happen! just plain old soap and water works the best!

    Question

Can somebody tell me what's wrong with the car wash on the corner ( or where ever) and some elbow grease afterwards to get the bugs off??? ( and I have a custom paint job By Farris)

You guys seem to be losing sight of the OP's original request for something that didn't involve water, since he had no hose available. Water is always the best, but if you have none, you have to improvise.
