    Default Coolant problem

My '08 GS started leaking thru the overflow tube. Replaced the thermostat, flushed and filled with Engine Ice. Same problem. Other insights pointed to an air bubble. Any help on the best way to "burp" the system?

    Default Shop manual says

Refill system and run until thermostat opens, without cap. Let cool, top off put cap on. Done. I just did mine last week. Make sure the cap rotates to the second stop, or it will vomit coolant. That might be what's going on with it.

    Coz has you covered.
It seems to bleed air easier with the cap off so the system doesn't build up pressure to early. I also have a habit of squeezing/priming the hoses as its running to help. Don't know if it makes any difference but that's the way I have always done it.
