2013 RT-S vs 2012 RT-S
So I was told that there is not much difference between the two, other than wheels. I know there was a front end suspension change.
Are there any major differences that warrant the Extra cost of getting the 2013?
Or should I just get the Limited 2013?
thanks

New Frame...
Redesigned Engine Mounts...
Re-Located Battery...
The Front suspension
The Wheels...
Bigger and More Powerful Brembo Brakes...
I THINK that they've also simplified some of the computers on the 2013s; but that's something that you should check with the experts first.

The redesigned suspension and the Brembo brakes make the biggest difference in the handling over the earlier models. The stereo seems to be improved as you can actually hear it at highway speeds. Some other cosmetic changes are the blacked out pieces (handlebars, pegs and footrests) which I think look pretty cool.

The remodeled frame, suspension, electrical, blackend pegs and rims and the Brembo brakes made me switch from a 2010. But that is just my .02 cents.
If you are a 1st owner and don't want to spend the $$$, then the 2012 can be yours at a deep discount since dealers are making room for more 2013. However, leftover 2013's will be discounted deeply at the end of the season or next year when 2014's roll out.
May all your encounters with the law begin with the words: "nice trike!".[/B]

According to the first few reports on services being performed on the 2013s (even from Lamont), they are tougher to work on. Weather the electronics are simplified, time will tell.
