They thought Spyderfest should be Mid-May? Well right now at my house 80 miles from ground zero, 12 May at 0620 AM it is 34 degrees and falling, lets face it this has been a strange year Spring is running a couple of months late and I thinks they said the last time the weather pattern was like this was 100 years ago.

Totally agree...weather has been VERY different everywhere this year. One day cold, one day hot, one day snow, one day ....the list continues.
At least you won't have to dig the snowblower out of the pile under which it's hiding in the garage!
All that can be done, is to dress in layers and hit the highway!
Went to a PGR mission yesterday.Beautiful day- Clear -Warm -Extra WINDY!!! Driving home trying to keep the tween the right lines!!! and me on it!!! Finally home- Great warm day- did some mowing -went inside for water break- out again and temp dropped 10 to 15 degrees!!!! Whoever said we were in global warming needs a shrink!!! Coldish this AM too. The whole weather thing is REALLY trying to change us and our way of thinking about it. BUT one day at a time and "just wait a few minutes it'll change".

Only the Shadow knows. But those who are into conspiracy theories also know.
We had our best (warmest) rydeing day yesterday. It was 64 above and partly sunny. Almost took the liners out of the jackets. Raining today. The leaves are coming out. Spring has sprung.

(I missed that glorious day; SORRY! )
We have been riding for three weeks now. Last weekend the 4th and 5th was a weather washout. Snow/rain. Linda has a little over 600 miles so far on our weekend rides. I have a few more miles due to my 40+ mile rydes to pick up the mail each day. (3 block distance actual)

I hear that there's a GREAT place to get a cup of coffee in Juneau... Glad to hear that your hibernation has ended!

Guess what? No roads into or out of Juneau (our state capitol). Lived here since 2001 and never been there--or wanted to-- You have to fly in or take the ferry to get there. I wonder why the legislators feel that they have to hide from the population.
Meant as information--not political. I just love the legislators.

Looks like the Springfield forecast for later this week would have been great weather for Spyderfest...60s to low 80s Thurs-Sun, per NOAA.org. 40% rain chance Thursday. But, I'm not going to get sucked into another discussion on the weather in MO. Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. Hopefully we'll see you all at the Owners Event.
