Why name it... when you call it, it won't come (unless someone is on it)!

2015 Can-Am Spyder F3-S SM-6 Can-am Red/Black SM-6 with 2010 Black RT-622 trailer (hitch in the works).
I used to be more active on a women's motorcycle site, and was encouraged to name my Spyder. So I named it "Dudley" (a la Dudley Dooright) because its Canadian and has a red coat.
But the Spyder is really more sophisticated than that character, so I'm thinking of changing to something else. I just haven't come up with anything yet.

My ST is named White Lightning, complete with black and red lightning bolts thanks to Pete and Power Sports Wraps and the name is on my tires with white lettering thanks to Jim with Tred Ware.

I have not had ours long enough to give it a name that sticks, but it has been called "the Blue Bug" more often than not...
I wont start an insect argument, but I am of the opinion that if it makes my wife go "eeewww" when it touches her, then its a "bug" because it "bugs" her... soooo, inspects or arachnids, they can all be slang termed "bug"...
That being said, the second most common name for my Blue RTS is "Blue Widow"...
Spyde i guess i havent really thought about it much
My wife calls it that backwards lookin thing she has always loved to ride on my Harleys until i brought home Spyde now she just walks by it and laughs i guess she hasent gotten it yet?
So now at this point im a solo rider maybe one day she will figure it out
After reading another thread posting about naming your Spyder, I posted the following and thought in may be appropriate to re-post it in the GENERAL DISCUSSION AREA. I have started a list of the names of Spyders from this thread. If others would like to provide your Spyder names and reasons, I will keep it on an excel spreadsheet and make it available to those who may want it. You may either post it here or send me a PM with your info.
I call her "RedBird" 2012 RTS SE5 she flies through the wind.
The Tardis....after Dr. Who's Time And Relative Dimension In Space time machine/spacecraft, because it's blue, and we get younger every time we ryde it! (Well, we feel younger, anyway...)
When I got the bike, since it is blue, the kids named it Pappa Smurf. When it blew up at mile 86 it got a new engine and instument cluster from the loaner RT we were given. Naturally this smurf is no longer natural, thus Frankensmurf was born.

The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt." Thank You - Your Spyder name has been logged into my excel database. I will make it available later when it appears the interest has stopped.
