Belt Tensioners
Anyone have any thoughts on the benefit of belt tensioners? I have heard both pro and con on whether they help with vibration at speed. I have 2013 RT.

I had a vibration on my RS around 4500 rpms and it helped mine greatly.

I put a Smooth Spyder Tensioner on my 09 GS and it was a huge improvement. I now have a 2013 ST and don't feel the need for one. It may be because BRP increased the belt tension specification for the 2013's.

Don't know..!!
I don't know how much it helps with the vibrations cause those come from so many places. I have it to keep the belt tight to the sprocket lessening the chance of debris getting in and damaging either..

WOW! I'd like to get that kind of gas mileage. (Couldn't let that one go.)
Same experience on my 2011 RTS but no tensioner, yet. I have something to look forward to.

I put a smooth spyder on a 2008 RS/GS and it makes for a noticeably smoother ride.
