The Porn Star and I made it home yesterday, easy ride back to KC, with sunshine.

Mcduffa and I made it home. Dry the whole way for once.
The rain limited the riding to 1600 miles (2400 miles last year) but had fun all the same.

Made it home around noon today. Held over in Eureka Springs Sunday night. Headed south to 412 on some pretty twisty roads that gave me the chance to put the Elka's to work. They, along with the Ultimate seat, are keepers! Beautiful weather for the morning ride. Glad to be home!

SZ-Spydie and I pointed her RT and my so-called "little" (ahem!) black Suzuki back toward KC about 2 minutes before Baymont Inn's noon check-out time on Sunday. Great weather riding down on Thursday and great weather going back on Sunday made the "juicy liquid center" a lot easier to shrug off.
Arrived home safe and sound, unpacked the bikes, picked up the mail from our neighbor and the dog from the "pet resort" ...and then all three of us collapsed on the couch.
Thanks to everyone, especially the other KC Spyder Ryders. Glasspyder and her Harley-ridin' hubby (to paraphrase Top Gun) "can be our wingmen any time."
We loved it all.
...But I have to admit, I was imagining myself on a 2013 RS-S the whole way home... [cue ominous soundtrack music]

Bruisersbaby and I got home a short while ago. Had a hard rain last night just west of Knoxville then hit a 4 mile backup. Was lucky enough to get a trucker to let us move over to get off I40 and stop at Sevierville for the night. Left out about 0730 this morning, foggy off and on. Light showers off and on around Raleigh/Durham, 70f. Got home to a newly resurfaced road, thank you NCDOT, rolled in and caught a man in our house. It was our neighbor who came over to feed the felines and pick up our mail. By the way, the rain and overcast we are getting is what was in MO. last week. Just can't get a break. Rest up everyone. BB will be posting picks on GOS I'm sure.

Average speed 55 mph. 2400# 20ft. trailer, two Spyders, one large suitcase, helmets, riding gear, coats, snacks, cooler, drinks, one 8x8 pop up canopy (for GOS use). Sounds like you could leave a couple of things at home next time. Just don't leave the "equalizers".
