How do you get the bearings out of the brake lever?

    Thanks,

    Default Let's see..!!

Never done one, but most are pressed in and usually have to be beaten out. Now the question is are you re-using the bearing or replacing it. That will dictate how you remove it. If re-using best get a bearing puller...some auto parts stores will lend/rent you one if you don't have one..

There is a step in the brake pedal that prevents the outer race from going in so you can't just knock them out.

    From the RT manual
Remove and discard brake pedal bearings using the BLIND HOLE BEARING PULLER SET (P/N 592 036 117).

I would guess you could use a pin punch a little smaller than the ID of the bearing inner race and move the inner spacer up and knock on the inner race of the opposite bearing to get it out and then the remaining bearing would be easy to knock out... don't re-use any bearing removed this way or with the blind hole type of bearing puller.
