We went to pick up the wife's Spyder. She had it and the trailer painted Candy Apple Red. Actually the paint color is Oh so Sexy. Came out GREAT. If you are comming to the Crawfish boil this weekend you can see it there. Otherwise you will see it at Spyderfest. Now we have to start saving to add the chrome to it. It came out so nice I think she needs to keep it at home and not ride it.
that awesome i love it and now i'm jealous..youre right it needs chrome to really bling it it will give it that extra pop thats needed. what was the final price for doing this mod???

I agree with you! I kept waiting around for BRP to come out with the color and just couldn't wait any longer! The color name is "Oh so Sexy" and she is just that! The photos just do not do the bike justice - if you think it looks good by the photos, you'll be really impressed in person!
This was the deal with the paint color. I LOVE candy apple red color wine 'ish', redish, burgundy 'ish'. Not eggplant color or red color! About a year ago, we went for a ryde and I forgot my sunglasses at home so we stopped by a truck stop and I bought a cheap pair of sunglasses that was THE color! I made up my mind that this was the color that my bike was to be painted. We took the sunglasses to every car dealership in town to try to 'match' the color. No luck. We were introduced to a body/paint shop that specializes in paint colors and painting 'unique' items (old cars, motorcycles, etc.) and he agreed to do it. I actually brought the sunglasses to him to match the bike to them! The owner of the shop was not too keen about the disassembly/reassembly process of a Spyder so I paid a fellow spyder ryder to do it for me - he was GREAT!
My 'farkle' price was right around 5,200 (I'm crazy)! The majority of this price was the "Oh so Sexy" paint! I think the paint must have been made of liquid gold and I'm not talking about furniture polish either. But hey - now I have a bike and trailer that matches my sunglasses! So look for the "Oh so Sexy" Spyder ryder lady with the cool matching sunglasses at SpyderFest to check out the bike!
Now.....just dreaming for chrome - gotta get back to work to make a little money for that!
