I'm contemplating getting a 622 trailer. But lets say in Nevada, you are lucky to fit two cars and a bike in a three car garage. How do you all store this thing?

Depending upon how much effort you're willing to put into it. One way would be to construct a sling and hoist system and suspend it above one of your cars. Sounds kind of 'out there' but where there's a will/need. There's a way.

I opted for a five foot deeper garage and am considering doing exactly this because the toy house(garage) is FILLING UP.

The trailer is fairly heavy but you could spread the weight easily enough. The problem with that idea(as I see it) is it would be very difficult to lift and position the trailer in that manner. Like a three person job....maybe three and a kid

What kind of space and head clearance do you have in the forward part of the garage when the doors are open. Would the trailer fit side to side rather than depth wise.....that is if there would be ample walking clearance under it? Hard to visualize what you have to work with having never seen what you're faced with space wise.

This is a 360 degree view of my garage. Despite the appearances of the garage. its really rectangular. not penta or hexagonal. The two walls on the outsides of the picture are actually connected.

If you would like I'll measure my trailer and give you an idea of what kind of space you need.

Like total height from ground to top, box size (basically squared off, and total length including tongue.

Then a little time in the garage with a tape measure should yield some possibilities.

Since we got the RS, both cars stay on the driveway, and the garage has both s and the RT-622 trailer.
If the trailer is not in use and space is running tight, I store some things in the trailer such as the golf bags, equipment, and light items such as empty boxes and ice chests.

All you need is a flat piece of steel 12 inches long by 6 inch mount a ball to that and then mount that plate to a sheet of 3\4 inch plywood. Span the plywood across two studs on the out side of the garage wall. you can use a chain hoist or for a few dollars more buy an inexpensive electric hoist just mount that from the ceiling trusses and your good to go.

i dont have the can-am trailer but its a comparable size trailer

i turn mine side ways in the rear of the garage against the wall and back the spyder in front of it

in your case time to rack more of the boxes and bicycles from the roof or walls

It is a good idea. But, how do you keep the back side of the trailer from scraping the ground while being lifted, or 'taken off the wall'. It would be at least a two person balancing act. I think?

I looked at standing my MINITrailer USA model on end but the overall length was about 12" too long. I have a standard height ceiling, just taller than the door.

I back the trailer in along one wall then can back the RT in next to it keeping the front tires next to the hitch and it fits good.

Just a thought u could add a rear bumper simolar to a push bar with some castor roller wheels and make your trailer into a stand up against the wall design.My bike trailer from former two wheelers was a stand up design thet u pushed up close to the wall and out of the way pretty easy for one person.

Bah, there's room in there for a trailer. Your kids don't need their bicycles!

Hang the bikes on the wall, extend the overhead racks and move some boxes off the floor. Voila! Space for a trailer.

With Proper arranging and placement we are able to a Spyder, GW Trike, Cargo Trailer and Aspen Camping trailer in the space of my Truck which sets outside now. Nice thing about a Spyder and GW Trike my front wheel and her rear wheel work out great side by side. My wife’s car still sets inside, by the toys in a 2 car Garage.

Take something like a furniture dolly, pad all the rails and add a vertical back to lean/tie the trailer to. Then tip the trailer on end and roll it against the wall.
