Scoot, Cindy & I will be heading up that way too. I'm gonna probably leave the weekend before and do some exploring. I may even head up to Virginia and then come back down on the BlueRidge Parkway.

Mine is everything Lamont said that it would be once it was introduced. I feel the ride is better than my 2010 RT with the Elka's. I have noticed a slight wander at 60 MPH +. I also have noticed it wander when I really apply my brakes. I'm not experiencing anything like some have reported on theirs. I feel that my 2013 takes corners better than the 2010 with the Elka's. I feel much more comfortable taking them aggressively.
This has been my first experience with a trailer. I don't even notice it behind me but for the ball and hitch sound at slow speeds. I am practicing on backing. Backing this thing is a lot different than a boat. This trailer is a lot more sensitive to movements when backing.
I don't experience the vibration that my 2010 had. In fact this thing is really smooth. My wife loves the smoothness and she feels more secure on the 2013.
I would have preferred adjustable shocks. However, I can live with what I have. If I feel this needs to be addressed later on which I don't now, I'll do it.
I like the fact that the battery is up front. I had my tech put a 12 volt outlet in my left speaker grill when he assembled my spyder. (no cost).
Last, but not least, I love the color. I didn't realize that the trailer did not come (factory) in the "circuit yellow" color. My dealer, when making me the deal, on the 2013 RT-S, included the painting, etc., of the 2012 trailer.
All in all my new spyder is everything that Lamont said it would be and then some. Although I didn't have a lot of choice in waiting in that I was rehabing from my injury, I'm glad I did.
Hope this helps.

Scooter and Doc, are you staying at microtel and ryding up to Lamonts on Saturday, or are you moving to a motel up there? We booked Thurs and Fri before we heard the date for Lamonts was Sat. I am leaning towards extending Microtel another day instead of moving

We're moving the Toy Hauler to a different campground (Bailyton RV Park) on Saturday Morning. It is at I-81 Exit 36.

I just changed our stay at Microtel to arrive Wednesday and leave Sunday to head to Carol's sister north of Charlotte.
When are you leaving here?
