Great another insurance rate hike.
Not sure what everyone else pays for insurance rates. For me it's about $800 for a driver season of April to October inclusive. That's already with a 20% good driver discount. They are talking about a 73% increase now.

I am paying about $700.00 a year. But then they consider the spyder in the car category. Much the same as they don't require a motorcycle license either. But the rates are going up.

Find an agent that writes through American Reliable. I've been with them for 3 yrs. Annual premium on my RT

I'm in Canada as well & it costs $300 for full coverage to a private insurance company.
However, my driver's licence & registration also include insurance premiums with Quebec so who knows what the true total is.

I should have mentioned, automobile insurance in SK is through a Crown Corp. We can't buy it through private corporations or shop around. We have to buy it as part of our government registration. For our neighbours from the south, it would be like having to buy your basic registration and insurance from your State's Government, and then we pay higher premiums to get lower deductibles and higher liabilities.

Mine went down this year to $388. Getting a discount cause I took the GWRRA rider's trike class and the Spyder is a year older.

No. health insurance is different and through the Province as well, we supposedly don't have private health care in Canada, but we buy additional health benefits through private companies. There is a health care component and wage recovery component to auto/moto insurance. Plus and minuses to that. But we can't sue either. No fault insurance.

I'm paying $385.00 thru Progressive and that includes my RT full coverage & just liability on my 1978 SR500 Yamaha.
