Lamont BBQ 2013.

I guess the only other thing we need to know to plan timing and rooms for Owners event is whether Lamont BBQ will be adjacent to that event or a free standing event on another date???????????????

I can not make Spyderfest due to incorporative co-workers

, but then again who I'm to expect them to change their plans for little ol' me

So I'm really looking forward to this trip, already registered with BRP now looking at accommodations.

No idea on location difference between Maggie Vally and Lamont's BBQ, other than one is in NC and other in TN. Coming down from MA, I'm I best to spend Saturday night in Maggie Vally or find a hotel closer to TN?

Have my room booked at the Quality (Jamison) Inn..They haven't talked with anybody about a group rate yet but I got the same group rate we had last year...$77 per night. They said if a group rate is established they'll change my rate to that if lower...I got this rate with a retired military discount. It's gonna be a good year....I'll be staying there Friday night and head back towards home after the BBQ and get a room for Saturday somehwere closer to Michigan

Update...Just called back to extend my stay for a Sunday departure...They've established a Spyder BBQ group rate for $69.99...Ask for Spyder BBQ.

I just reserved a room at the Quality Inn for Saturday night. The said they would be working up a special rate for "Spyder People". Seems like Lamont has some pull with someone. Maybe we can get a group riding over from Maggie Valley on Saturday morning. Looking forward to a great time. Thanks Lamont!

I wish BRP would plan these out a lot earlier. Have things already planed out from 6/2/13-6/16/13/. They should be releasing next years event now. Been wanting to get back since Lamont's second BBQ.

Dean stay at Maggie Valley until the Fri evening or Sat morning.A bunch of us are staying at the Comfort Inn.We have a group rate just say Sunbird Spyder Group.
Lamonts place is an hour minimum.You can ride over Saturday early or Fri night and stay at Greenville.

Let me know the details if doing a group ride to Lamonts, I'm staying in a friends place in Waynesville same as last time at Magie Valley.

Harry if that is for the Greenville Quality Inn hotel you need to call them back and get the $69.99 rate for 'Spyder BBQ"

Booked in at the comfort inn thru Saturday, then ride up to BBQ and stay over night locally. Then make the track home Sunday.

Hubby (Tobor 9) and I are staying at the Travelowes Tues thru Sun. See no reason to stay there til Sat morn and get a new room in Tenn. Easier for us to just ryde to The

on Sat and ryde back Sat evening. We will be leaving Sun morn sometime. just 1 time packing and unpacking is enough for us!!!
