Stuck in Reverse!

I start my se5 in gear all the time, like someone else said, just need to have the brake on. I don't leave her in reverse, because I have heard that the reverse lights may stay on after shutdown and drain the battery. So I back it into place, shift into first, and kill the power.

Just had this problem today! Got to looking for solutions and ya'll had it right here. Have had our 2011 RT SE5 Limited since April 2011 and this was the first time it got stuck in reverse. I have an excuse, though or at least I'll claim it as suck. Been wearing a collar on my neck after surgery for a couple of months and had what we suspect as a mini stroke a month earlier. Hope to get back to riding again regularly real soon. This place is a wealth of knowledge!
