They weren't designed for that job...
They're more for the mid-torso area.

I put some on mine, good solid click when going into position. no way thay are going to move on their own. You can reach down and adjust them "on the fly" (i suggest one side at a time though for safety's sake). I would put each side in different positions to compare the air flow. They work well, A good functional accessary for the money.

I've got them and have only ridden a couple hours since in moderately cool wx; however, am not convinced they offer significant air control one way or the other. Maybe it'll be more obvious come hot wx, but for now, I'm thinking the $$$ could have been better spent. I'd suggest holding off till more reports come in after it gets hot.

I got to ride your old bike last week and it was really nice. Gary has added the new adjustable handlebars which are great. It was a cool day so I couldn't say whether the Baker air wings were good or not.

They close off the cold coming on you and on hot days open them up to put air where you want and I stayed cool all the way home from Spyder fest last year and love it. Default Adjustable Wings

To each his own, I think the new wings are very good, when closed they act just like the old wings, half open they direct a good amount of air to the passenger, fully open they direct more air to the driver. easily adjustable when riding down the highway. for my money they were a good purchase. They do not interfere with the half cover like some other products do.

    Default Newly added

I just purchased some chrome ones and got them on a few days ago. Kind of wish I would have gone with the plastic ones but I still love the look and function of them. Going to come in handy this summer when it hits 105-112 for about 90 days straight. Love the desert in the winter but sure is challenging in the summer.

They don't rattle, shake or vibrate. They have a three notch detention system engineered in them.

I picked up a set at SpyderFest, and have been completely satisfied with them!
(Mounted them up in Len's parking lot, and gave away the old chrome pieces that I removed)

    Thumbs up

Have been riding with the new BRP adjustable wind deflectors for a while now . I really like them ,they stay in the set position, do what they were designed to do and don not interfere with any of the BRP covers for the spyder.

I think that my only complaint might be that I've been slow to learn the procedure necessary to move them...
is it "Up and In; out and down"?
I keep trying to lift them when I shouldn't...

The don't need a double move to change them, just grab the end and angle them as you please.
