Campsites near Ozark, MO
I used the Campfinder APP on my Android and found one of interest. Mark Twain National Forest, Cobb Ridge Recreational Area Chadwick, MO 15 miles SE of Ozark. 1-417-683-4428 They are dirt bike and ATV friendly. They have 38 RV, 43 tent and 2 group sites $10 - 15 per night. Any others from Indiana interested in getting together on the way down and at the campsite?

I'm from Indiana and the reason i chose koa in Springfield is because it's closer to the host hotel. All the stuff near Branson was about 45 minutes from Springfield. The koa site said they allow 12 per site. The only thing that worries me are the trains.

I'm considering KOA, but I want to see what Pitbill comes up with. As soon as I know I can cancel my hotel reservation. I'll also know what camera I can afford to buy!

Ear plugs and couple glasses of wine. No Problems!Maybe you can hookup with someone that will help with costs. Makes it a little easier on everyone. I asked when I called and they weren't really going for that with me. But we have a trailer. I know Dave and Teddy
are looking to hookup and share the costs. See you there!

At Vanom in Vandiver we were a couple hundred yards from the RxR tracks. I kind of enjoyed the sound of the train going by.
There's always an excuse to get your own squished pennys done for free?
If you need earplugs, I can bring some E.A.R. Grande units if you need some?
Do you pour the wine in your ears before you put in the earplugs?

As for the train by KOA only 2times some time week end 3 about o 8 hrs apart but call they will tell you the times but not as bad in town sound

I just booked a tent site at KOA and canceled the Comfort Inn. I wouldn't mind getting a cabin at KOA, but would want some roomies. The cabin has no bathroom or kitchen, but it has real beds, electricity, ac & heat. If there are a couple of ladies who'd like to share, please PM me, and if a cabin is still available, we can book it.

Makes great emergency toilet. Now you will have a toilet in a KOA cabin!
I will have one of these in my truck....you never know when Mother Nature beckons?

Note to self, (remind Judy to beware of bucket with trash bag) Never to sit on it because people are going to laugh and point at her.

Mike from Albuquerque here....I just made my reservation for Cobb Ridge, and it only cost 60.00 total for the 5 nights! Hot showers, and yes... flushing toilets too! What a country!!!
I will be pulling my Kwik Kamp pop-up with the Spyder. Looks like I can add in one more camper to Site #16. If you are looking for a place to camp, let me know and we can share the cost.
