    Default Tie Downs

    2013 where is the best place to tie the RT 2013 on a trailer ? In other words where do i hook my tie downs on the bike ?

    Use straps thru the front and rear wheel(s). Place a rag on the wheel where the strap contacts the wheel, it will prevent any wear on the wheel.

    I agree. The information is on page 161 of your owners manual. There is a lot of good information there.

    can't stress enough..one should read their manual cover to cover. There is a wealth of information there. As mentioned tie the unit down by the wheels. There are special holding blocks you can add to the trailer for this. Check with our sponsors which sell everything you can imagine for your spyder...!!

    The owner's manual covers it in pretty decent detail...
    At the rear of the bike; watch yourself around the rear brake on the RH side, and the belt and 'sprocket' on the left... Fee the strap ONLY around the wheel; snake it in between the sprocket and wheel!
