I am a recent owner of a 2012 Can Am Spyder RT-S an only have 120 miles on the unit. I will be doing most all of the maintenance after the 1st 600 mile oil change at the dealer. I have two Goldwings and have done most all the maintenance on them so I feel confident I should be able to do most of the maintenance on the Spyder. At least the oil changes.
Question: Is there jacking points for raising this unit as I like to get underneath to get the best look at what I'm doing? I prefer to get it up high enough to have it on jack stands at least.
Also I have a tractor with forks (as in fork lift) attached to the hyd. bucket. Can I lift the Spyder with these forks? If so where is the best lifting points?
Would it be best to approach from the side or the front?
This forum has already answered a lot of my questions but I was surprised of the amount of folks that haven't read their owners manual. Some of the questions I read here could be answered if only the manual was read.
