American Pickers and Pawn Stars are going to Sturgis. Priemiers November 5th. 9:00 pm eastern on History Channel.
I would much rather watch the grass grow than watch them two fools on pickers. They make fun of people by braging how they bought an item cheap and how much money they are going to make on it.
Again, this is only my opinion
Not a fan of the "pickers". Like to watch pawn stars because I am interested in stories and information about antiques and stuff. The show is starting to degrade towards "cornball" trumped up incidents and interaction between the players though. Watched a few episodes of Counting Cars also--but that one is pretty "cornball" from the get go. I like those old cars he fixes--but oh the stuff you have to endure with the rest of the program.
We were planning on checking the pawn store out during our trip to Vegas in December--but I am guessing the "bosses" and players wont be anywhere to be found.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

unless things have changed, they actually do run the store during normal hours. Though I understand the line to get in now in massive thanks to their tv show.
Well if you want to stir up the hornets; all you needed to do was bring up helmet usage... or tire pressure... or favorite oil brand... or which bike is best... or what tires to use... or...
We went to the Pawn Shop last year when we were in Vegas. It is not what it looks like on the show, small and not any of the stars were seen by us. It was sort of crowded inside and outside, but I wouldn't go back.

It isn't much to look at at all and neither are any of the other buildings around it. Never went in but drove past it when we were in town for meetings. We stayed at the Southpoint Casino.

As you say it is your opinion and you are right to express it. However, I watch it regularly and really never have seen this display of making fun of people you refer to. In addition, They are in business to make money but again not the amount of bragging you allude to. I have seen them actually give more money than a seller is asking when the seller does under price an item and also give some rather expensive items to museums and collectors. Showing how much they can potentially make on an item is not bragging simply the American way and good tv. This opinion, to me, sounds like something our present administration would say. They have the stores and the employees and bills to pay, why are they not entitled to make a profit?
Just giving my opinion on the issue which I'm sure you will agree I have a right to express too.

Admitedly; it's not a show that I watch; but if we're gonna start a debate, can it be about something a bit more substantive?
Like speeding tickets, or gun ownership, or oil brand... or...
I will never give up my guns. I will go down fighting to the end. I will use what oil I choose to use. I wear a helmet because I am required to and even if I'm not I will. I drive a Ford van for work because that's what my company supplies. My wife drives an Impala SS. I have a 1500 Silverado. I live in a single family home which we own. We have mods on our RTS' and they don't void the warranty. I howl at the moon and grow fangs and hair when the moon is full. The wine I cook with is the wine I drink. Your turn...
