Default sluggish 1st to second shifts

I have a 2011 RT and it is very sluggish, sometimes refusing to upshift at all, when I am first running it. I always let it warm up for about 3-4 mins before pulling away. Is this a common issue? Seems to go away after 15 mins of riding. I am not pushing it either.

I've found that shifting around 5,000 RPMs always gives me smooth shifts even with the engine not fully warmed up.

"Essie" or "Essem"" I'm guessing that it's the floppy-paddle one...
A sluggish upshift also seems to point to low oil levels... I'd check that, just to be safe!

Check the oil level, Could be a hair low. Also you might be trying to up shift at a too low rpm, Most likely that's the problem.

Check oil level. The other possibility may be that you do not have the revs's high enough for the upshift. 4500+ is recommended. Give those a try and let us know if it gets better.
