LOL! May all that happen! No biggy, more just wondering what other people would think. . Figured they would get more advertising if they wouldn't have swapped plaques, as I was pretty impressed they took the time to spray them, but not impressed that they did the swap!

I wouldn't think he wold any right to change anything on your Spyder without permission...after all, it is YOUR Spyder!! I would be extremely upset!
-
WTF??
They washed your Spyder for FREE and you are complaining about them promoting their business. I'm not usually on the Dealership's side but.... Come on.

Promoting their business, would have been served better with me telling people how great they were for washing it, and actually naming the dealer, rather then removing the plaque and then me telling this story! ( and notice I didn't name them).

Also a license plate plaque on a fairly new spyder would make the assumption the spyder was bought at that dealer!

Go on who are they.

Even though they washed your spyder for you I don't think they had the right to switch advertising plaques. Shows poor judgement on their part. I wouldn't name them either unless they had done something more serious.

Hmm...............I would say they should not have changed the license plate frame. But I do not believe it is a federal offence punishable by death. It kinda is funny in a way but again shouldn't have been messin with your ride?

My problem is extremely mild, compared to the stolen spyder! I feel so bad for those people! This is nothing in comparison. Also please don't take this as a reason not to come to this event, as I met many wonderful people and it is a very beautiful area to ride! Unfortunately this crap happens everywhere! There is criminal elements in every part of the world.

Although they should have never done that without your permission you have to give them 10 out of 10 for effort. They obviously thought your spyder was top notch, good enough to promote their dealership. But all said and done they should not have touched your spyder.
Wonder what else they swapped, do you still have the Elkas

It was generous of them to "wash" your spyder. However, they shouldn't have changed or removed anything of off your spyder without permission. It was definately disrespectful. You could always mail it back with a nice note; questioning if this is actually your spyder since you noticed the difference in the plaques. Dale

Not a nice thing to do without asking; I'd compare it to putting a kid holding a melting ice cream cone in your saddle and taking pictures while you're in a diner getting lunch..
