Default Something New for the Spyder

Now that we are a two Spyder family, we no longer need to pull the trailer to haul our gear. I had to do something with the trailer, so got rid of the cargo carrier, lengthened the tongue, added some braces, and an upper rack and now we can take the kayaks with us.

Great idea - very nice. On a side note, I've never seen that color of red; can I assume it's a custom paint job? It's the right color of red.

    Pretty ingenious!

I've been wanting to take up Kayaking. We have a lot of (Probably) great rivers to Kayak here in East Tennessee.

I've done some open ocean Kayaking and really enjoyed it. A different animal I know, but still somewhat similar.

You are fortunate that both of you enjoy it. I'm sure I would not be able to get my wife anywhere near it.

    Have fun!

Is that a Harbor Freight type of trailer frame? I have been thing of doing something similar to tow our TerraTrikes.

Nice on both accounts - the trailer and the paint. Where do you kayak?
