    Default RS maintenance; Uh Oh

Took my 2009 GS in for some routine maintenance today. It seems it may cost quite a bit more than anticipated....while waiting to talk to the service manager, i chatted with the sales manager!!! Everything is kind of a blur, except for the part where I am toolin' down I4-75 on a pearl white, RT limited...aaahhh!!! who knew??? (waiting to hear the numbers....)

That's all ways the downside of going to the dealer, there's always something new to buy.

Hopefully the numbers are good for you.

    Post back with the results.

    HA!
My dealer tries that all the time with me. My Spyder was in the shop for 3 weeks waiting on a new rear shock (crazy breakage!). He called me and said "I know you need having a Spyder fix, come on in and take our demo for a ride". Yep...I did it. The demo had 200 miles on it when I left and 300 when I brought it back. I expressed my feelings of exuberance to him...knowing full well what was coming next...the sales pitch. I WON! I still have my beloved 2008 Yellow SM5 (for now!)....uh....

Oh yeah...my Spyder was the first one they sold...and it was the first one in my county.

    Default TEMPTATIONS................

OH YES..............I can relate and absolutely know how you were feeling. Why? Because there is a new Can Am Spyder dealership in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Pensacola Motor Sports sold the dealership here. They are temporarily renting the Honda dealership building while they wait for the permanent one to be ready. Someone who lives both in Louisiana and here bought it and will have plenty of models to choose from in addition to farkles and clothing. It was all I could do to NOT climb on that pearly silver beauty when I walked up to her. That beauty made HOTRED look like a kids toy. Not kidding. (deep sigh) Well, HR is a different generation Spyder and she gets lots of admirers. She is mine and I love her. Let us know if you have a new ryde to enjoy.
