    Bought a replacement bottle last year and this week it just cracked (vertical cracks on the centerline, on the area where the internal baffle / reinforcement is glued / "welded" to the bottle).

    Another replacement bottle cracked..., lasted just one year...

    Thinking of making an aluminum or stainless-steel tank...

    Question - when I replace the coolant tank, is it a good idea to replace hoses as well as clamps? How about the cap? Thanks!

    Did you install a new radiator cap when you replace the bottle???

    Maybe the cap opening pressure is bad??? (just a suggestion)
