Default Am I missing a bolt???!!!????

Am in the process of an oil change, new plugs and wires, new air filter, new exhaust gaskets, and wrapping the exhaust. Am looking around inside and find this empty threaded bolt hole. Always have taken to shop for pm's but I thought I'd tackle this myself. Is there suppose to be a bolt in there or is it suppose to be empty???? It is located on the right side of the "block" straight across from the fan. bolt.jpgbolt 2.jpg

Threads look too clean like nothing has ever "lived there" in that hole? I haven't removed my Tupperware cause I have a RT and it may be different than your bike. I've seen places that look like some sort of option would be installed there on my bike.

I'll let the other RS people answer your question.

NO! You are not missing a bolt. That is an empty hole on my '08 GS also.
    The glass is half full.

So, I guess it's a manufactured hole. There you go, your answer.
