For the first tim in my memory (which is getting worse) the local weather showed that the entire state of Texas was above 100 deg. with the exception of Brownsville which was only 98. It is going to be a Summer to remember for sure.

Not horrible here... about 105. Had to go downtown (about 15 miles), so rode the Spyder. Wore the chamois neck-kerchief and sleeves. Not bad for the 30 min ride. The Spyder did get a little warm though... hit 6 bars a couple times waiting at stoplights. Thinking about installing a fan override switch.. and maybe the larger, second generation fan.

After Durango, I rode up to Boulder where the temp. yesterday got to 104. The wife and I could not stand it so we ran for the mountains this morning. Currently at Estes Park at a more reasonable 88 deg.

    Default Rode early...not too bad

Wife was off of work today and we got an early start this morning. We wanted to put the new rear shock and the updates to the test. Left the house when it was 81 @ 8am, not too bad but knew it was coming. Drove down into Quinland by the lake then decided to head for home. Temp began to rise very quickly and te sweat was flowing. Completed the 75 mile ride @ 11am as the temp was reading 102. Glad we started early, spent the rest of the day in the pool!

We don't know what hot is compared to most Texans..Our average high temps in June are 90--doubt we've averaged 85 this year. Florida is probably one of the cooler states for June.

I noticed from your post and your picture that you have installed the Kuryakyn ISO grips on an RS. I've bought some and wanted to know if you or anyone else has any tips out is there a video out?
