Mean Nanny!

The other day the wife and I were ryding to a party, when I took a left hander a little hard. I leaned left and forward, and must have pulled a little "leelie" (left wheel up) when the Nanny totally smacked me!
Now this is going to happen, I guess, but what makes me mad is that after shutting me down, applying the brakes, making my tire screech, then she brings the throttle right back, RIGHT NOW.! I almost pulled a header followed by a back flip! BRP needs to work on the programming a bit.
We also had our first orange death light for the DPS. Shutting her off for a few minutes got her working again, but a trip to the dealer is on the list.
On a side note, how does one dim the dash lights? We got caught in some rain in the dark, and the dash lights reflecting off my faceshield was very distracting.

Open your owners manual and use the "card" that's in there somewhere. Tells you how to get to the last menu and works you through it. If I remember right, it adjusts in 10% gradients and I set mine at 60%.
It could be easier to find, but I'm sure you will.

I cranked mine all the way down to 40% and it's much better...

Sounds about right. Give it a shot. I'm too lazy to walk out to the garage and look, and the Lake Arrowhead Bear might get me, that wouldn't be good.

I lift a tire on a regular basis going around corners and the Nanny does not seem to get involved. I can get it a good 8-10" off the ground.

If the back wheel starts to slide than she will take over but nothing like you described. I have a 2011 RT, SE5 with latest software upgrades and Elka shocks. The higher stance of the Elkas does makes it lift a wheel a lot eaiser thant before. I find that if I drive as if I was going to over shoot the corner than make a hard correction to bring it back in line the wheel comes up evertime. Way cool, lol.

I have the Elkas as well. Stage 5. Still setting them up. I found that taking out 3 rounds of preload helped with ride quality and bump compliance in turns.
