Well day one has had some ups and downs, more ups. We left Sacramento at 8 am and got into Elko, NV around 6ish. It was about 105 on the road but the cooling vests helped immensely. The vests dried out in about an hour even soaking wet it was so hot. Everyone stayed hydrated and all is well. We are off in the morning about 7 am and heading to Wendover to do some sightseeing at the old Air Base from WW2 and then on to Bonneville salt flats. We will end up in Green River, UT for the night.
