My wife fell in love with the white RT as well. She never got on a motorcycle in her life, but she hopped right on our baby, and the rest is history. Congrats & welcome aboard

Just so you know, the white one is by far the fastest.

It only gets worse. Your story sounds much like ours. In May '11 we got our RT. Now for the worse...in September, she got her RS! But, its all good. We thoroughly enjoy our Spyders.
Keep us posted.

This all sure sounds familiar! When my wife, who's ultra conservative, careful with expenditures and over the top safety minded said she wanted an RT, I fell out of my chair and still on the floor. Must be some special water, because she wanted the Limited white one too. So, l did what every good husband would and got us a used blue one with a clutch! She loves it now, but there was resistance. Oh well you win some and win some a different way. Definitely get her the faster white one, if buying new.

The rules are these:
1. You pick out the bike (Hint: Pick the one she likes)
2. She decides the color
3. She decides on mods
4. You install the mods

Both my wife and I like blue. When we were looking at the dealer, she saw the magnesium and for some reason liked it better-and as they say "the rest was history." Whatever color you choose, you'll enjoy the spyder. Dale

After she gets, er.. you get, the Perl White, you will then be forced with deciding how to get the trailer to go with it...

Bull feathers. Get the color you want. If she wants white, let her get her own.

My wife also popped in out of the blue one day and said, "why don't we get a bike?" Needless to say I was shocked. We had ridden can am 4 wheelers when we were in Hawaii and was impressed with the stability. When we got back in April 2011, we sarted looking at the Spyder. Found a great dealer and we too had a color issue. She wanted the silver and I wanted the red. We ended up with the red and taking it in to the dealer for a 5000 mile service. We got our RT in Sep 2011 which she thought was too late in the season. But the weather was such that I was able ride at least one day each month including Christmas Day and New Years Eve. Have had an absolute blast. Hoping you situation improves so you can get one and if you get to Spyderfest next year, look yp me and the Mrs. we will be staying at the Super 8 in Cuba.
