Erase is the option you want. It will 'erase' the current trip mileage and data and reset everything back to zero.

I do that. The meter (both A & B) but it will not track the number of kilometers as it was doing all along till now. Thanks for replying but still will not work in either A or B. Any other suggestions.

Mine has never said reset, only erase on the 2011 cluster. I think you are on pause, so arrow up to resume..

    From the 2010 Owner's Manual

    trip meter 1.jpg
    TYPICAL
    1. Display selection: Trip A or Trip B
    2. Pause or resume the selected trip meter
    3. Reset the selected trip meter

Use the up arrow to change "resume" to read "pause" on both A & B

At times my trip meters are slow to reset. Seems I have to hold the "down" button for a long time to zero out the miles. Try holding the down button longer to see if it resets the trip meter.

I just had my 600 mile service and they did the latest software upload, On my way home I noticed the Trip A was not recording any miles, so I reset it to Zero miles and it stayed zero all the way home. I called the service dept that did the upgrade and they said to bring it back in. I did and 10 mins. later I was on the road home with A & B working properly. Said they reloaded something?J. D.
