How did you modify the gps location to the dash? Can you describe or show a pic? I have mine (RAM mount) where the limited has its mount, but would like to move to dash where more easily seen. Thanks

Bob I love your paint job on the back end. Looks very good. I may have to consider something like that. Was it done by an auto body shop? What type of paint was used?
The antenna I setteled on is a Diamond NR-73BNMO. It's half wave on 2 m and collinear on 440 and doesn't need a ground plane. I used the Diamond HRKS adhesive backed mount. I trimmed it down in size and used the 3M activator to help it stay stuck to the Spyder with a smaller surface area. So far ~500 miles and it isn't coming loose yet.

Digital Voltmeter Info request
DR Buck,
I love your install. I looked for a good looking dig VM but couldn't find one. I'd like to duplicate your install when I get my RT-S in a couple months.
What's the manufacturer and model number of your digital voltmeter and who did you purchase it from?

I love the Oil Pressure Gauge & Volt Meter Mod. IS this an after market add-on that can be ordered?
If not is there a post somewhere with instructions on how to do it?
Thanks,
Bob

Dr Buck, I enjoyed meeting you at the BBQ. Thanks for letting me hear what my RTS SE5 will sound like with the Cat Bypass and stock muffler. Sounds great and with less heat. Thanks again. Richard

Flush Mount Turn Indicators
Hi,
Just wondering where you obtained the led indicators on your mirrors? I too have difficulty seeing the indicators in the dash.

It's a bluetooth capable dual band VHF/UHF radio designed for motorcycles and ATVs. I installed the main chassis in the frunk and the control head on the original GPS mount on the handlebars. The antenna was installed in the unused mounting position opposite the factory radio antenna.
I also installed a cup holder on the dash using RAM mount hardware. It works well, does not block gauges and does not swing when steering as it is not on the handle bars.
I will post pictures in the near future.
Waiting for picture and how you install the antenna I'm looking how I will install mind

Got them at a local auto parts store. Only cost $6.99. Cheapest mod I've done.

After a few tries I found that only a 1/2 wave would work due to no ground plane. I used the Diamond HRKS stick on mount trimed down and stuck over the unused antenna mount location with the wire feeding into the opening. To make sure it stayed put I put some of the 3M tape activator on first. You can adjust the antenna angle to match the factory radio antenna.

Digital Oil Pressure Gauge & Volt Meter
Hey Dr... Where did you find the Digital Oil Pressure Gauge & Volt Meter? Once installed, Did your fuel gauge show up in the digital display window automatically or did you have to make some adjustments? Thanks, Reggie
