How to make?
I have a 2015 RT LTD
Has anyone been able to come up with a way of making the rear passenger floor boards adjustable more for shorter legs? I need to raise them about one inch.
I want to be able to make them, not purchase them
Any ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thank you

This gets asked every now and again. I do not recall anyone ever posting an answer but could be wrong.
I will offer an idea. If you are willing, and a little bit crafty, locate some tread material like diamond plate aluminum in 6061 T6 alloy, or smooth 6061 T6 plate. I would get them in 1/4" thickness.
Use the existing floorboard and trace the pattern onto the new material. Cut it to shape. Next obtain Stainless hardware of say 1/4" diameter and sufficient length, along with nylon locknuts. To raise the floorboard you will need spacers based on how much you plan to raise the floorboard. Ideally these could be made from 1" diameter round aluminum stock, then drilled in a lathe or by another means to allow the bolts to pass thru.
Match drill as needed to the oem floorboard and fasten it together.
If you used a smooth aluminum plate, you might want to install a rubber tread with some contact cement.
No doubt paint to match if needed.
The one downside is you will not be able to fold the floorboards.
If anyone markets the idea, PM me so I can have you send my royalties on the design...

Instead of making you passenger wear platforms add the platform to the rest[emoji106]spyder specialty looks better by far

Wood
Blocks of wood, same size as the footboard. Paint black, on the last paint coat, throw some mica on it and spray again. Run a couple of wood screws in from the bottom. Done!

Let's see....
The wood blocks I have seen quite a bit but the nicest ones were trimmed hard foam rubberlike material and very comfy....

Do you have the rear floor boards already adjusted up, to the max. adjustment setting?
How old would you be if you didn't know how old you were?

Do the RT's not have adjustable rear floorboards? I just have an ST and it came with them. You need to loosen the bolt on the inside to adjust them though.
