ICSI Flag holder
Anyone out there with the ICSI flag holder on there RTs. If so where do you mount the long flat bar that the two flag holders attach to ? I know it is to go behind the licence plate but on the top or bottom. I would think it would mount on the top so the bolts go where the licence plate attached. There is no way my not long enough bracket can attach to the holes in the rear fender where the licence plate attached .

How to mount your ISCI License Plate Flag Holder
Step 1: Remove your chrome handlebars (see shop manual for detailed instructions);
Step 2: Remove your top license plate bolts;
Step 3: Put the ISCI Flat bar behind the license plate;
Step 4: Re-insert and secure the top license plate bolts;
Step 5: Re-install your chrome handle bars.
Please disregard Steps 1 and 5 if you have already switched out your OEM handlebars in one day.

Man first I get the Gorilla alarm for the Spyder and the shock alarm doesn't work, so on my dime I have to pull the alarm off the Spyder and mail it back, two weeks later and still haven't herd a darn thing and now this with the blasted flag mount . I guess there will be NO flags on my Spyder for SpyderFest .
Dan, on my ISCI flag holder i remember that during my install I had a head scratching moment similar to yours. The flag mast is notched in such a way that you can mount it at the wrong angle. After I realized this I switched it around and it fit properly. That being said, it is possible you have the wrong unit. If you want to send me a picture of your unit I will be able to see if it is for the RT.

Thanks NorthStar. I tried every possible combo and the bottom line is that flat plate isn't long enough. I will call ISCI on Mon. with the measurement .

I have run mine on the highway up to about 75 ( Cops in front ) with no problems. They have been on there for 1500 miles or so.
Anybody flying flags. Try putting "Fray Edge" on the trailing edge. It is supposed to used as a seam sealer for sewing. Got mine at Wal mart. Many flags have gone thousands of miles. I have been in the PGR almost since it started.

I have over 15,000 miles with these flags. Highway speeds - - - - - lets say 5 - 10 over the limit and no problems. Use loctite blue.

Has your issue been taken care of? If you have the wrong mounting bar I can replace it for you, no problem.
