Smile Carbon Black or Orange Rs s 2011 ...

Finally going to take the plunge ..i have been lurking a while..a few questions to you all before..

I am trying to decide what color is best , i like both but..i can only get one :-)
    thoughts...
Orange is more visible so safer???
how is cleaning the mat paint
carbon black made in 2012 also, so will there more around???
is there a way to find out how many colors where made in each color year?
any other input would be great.

    thanks for the help

Had a 2009 Phantom Black ( flat matte black ) and I used Turtle Wax Ice, it put a low luster shine on the black without leaving white marks . Tough to find out how many units in what colors where made, but someone may have that stat .

I would get the color that I liked the best as you can add a multitude of site sponsored LEDs to your ride to make you very noticeable to the cagers .

BRP adds and takes colors for the different model years as I think Yellow and Timeless Black have fallen by the wayside.

Black is nice---but---I really like the orange/black combo--more visible than the straight black.

I have the flat orange/black....I previously had the yellow. My new one isnt as visible as the yellow but now just putting on my lights to make me more visible. I use Honda pro-shine with no problems with the flat paint.

We've got the Phantom black with tons of LEDs...no visibility problems at all, thanks to Reggie (TricLED). Welcome to the Spyder world.
