Vanity Plates

I'm a bit of a science fiction fan, our 2011 RT is blue, and makes us feel younger every time we Ryde...so we call it the 'Tardis' after Dr. WHO's time machine/spaceship...Tardis.jpg and even a custom decal of Dr. Who's time-traveling police box!

In addition to the ad valorem tax on your vehicle, each year you will need to pay a $25 special tag fee and a $20 registration fee. You'll also need to pay a $25 manufacturing fee the first time you order the tag.Lithia Springs-Douglasville-20120428-00458.jpg

My friends call me Silverfox more than my given name. Of course my wife calls me honey but I'm too bashfull and would not put that on my ryde.
So I went with SVRFX. It was a birthday gift from my wife (and ryding partner!).

Just ordered vanity plates today. For my Spyder "ARRSRT". for my truck "ARRRRRR" dumping the "NOTCRAZ" I've had on my truck for 15 years.

I just ordered "GZRS" for my RT LTD for the wife and I. I usally ride my Nomad when alone but always the Spyder when with the wife. In utah we can only put 4 characters on our personalized motorcycle plates. I have "AKAGPA" on my truck and "4DEN" on the Nomad. The wife has "AKAGMA" on her car.

Been waiting for a good picture of our "Spyder Twins" plates -- Shot taken yesterday during our Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. Wife & I wasn't able to attend last Saturday's group Spyder ryde on the Skyline since I work weekends. After looking at their pictures, we thought there couldn't be any better way to get in the mood for Autumn than a ryde on the Skyline Drive. Slideshow coming soon!

very nice...I'm still working on getting my wife to even try the spyder. She at least sat on it. Hopefully after the baby she may try it out.

Strange, I purchased my Honda Gold Wing, a GL1500 SE, a year 2000 model in June of 2000. Six months later I applied for a personal plate. Every year since, my fee to renew my registration has been $18.00!?! Now the SO's vehicle is $36.00 per year and my compact pick up is $56.00 per year!?! None of those two vehicles have a personal plate! Dagg, I hope the politicos in Penna do not read this post!!!! $56.00 per year for a personal use pick up? Now that in my opinion is just wrong!
BTW, the plate on the wing is Y2KSE, works for me. Ha Ha!!
