    Default Vanity Plates

It's been a while since we have talked about vanity plates. I am curious to know what is currently out there. May give us some new ideas.

How much are the vanity plates up in Alaska? I looked at the cost here in the State of Taxes and about swallowed my left eyeball...

I kept mine from my Rune when I sold it because I just renewed it for two years, and they wouldn't give any refund on it, so I just transfered it to the Spyder. So now I have "05RUNE" on the back of my RT.

I believe that it totals up to about $90 per year down here...

Right now all I have is MONKEI ... but trying to come up with some chrome options that say SPYDER above the vanity plate. So you end up with SpyderMonkei

Yeah, registration is expensive here. But vanity plates are only +$20 for normal customized plates. Different looking / different style plates are a good deal more though.

$50.00 in Alabama. The tag holder is from Beta Designs and can be most anything you dream up.

No picture, but on our Spyder it is RYD4HM...... Missouri doesn't sell vanity plates for trailers, hard to believe that they would miss out on the extra money.

We made up our plates based on how riding makes us feel. Our Harley has "VALYM" and our Spyder has "PROZK". We get lots of thumbs up and a few laughs.

My hubby chose Thpbbt.... its the sound a kid might make to make a motor sound... sticking your though part way out of your mouth and blowing. lol (Also the sound a rice burner would make... rode a kawasaki before he changed to his victory)

Catniption and I brainstormed tag ideas for Clyde. We came up with several, and now I can't decide to go with goofy or clever, darn it. I would tell you my favorites, but I sort of wanna show you guys when it's a done deal. The goofy one just about anybody would understand; the clever one would probably only be understood by Spyderfolk, and perhaps a few select others. And naturally, the goofy one sort of describes me, and the clever one describes Clyde.

You wouldn't believe how many people just don't 'get' her tag... you'd thing TKLDPNK on a pink Spyder would be self-explanatory.
