Countershaft Bearing ???
I have what I would describe as a creaking noise coming from the area of the countershaft. It happens about once per revolution of the countershaft (Not a constant noise). Any ideas ?

Thanks,It really doesn't sound like a rough bearing so I'm hoping it's just the belt. Tension seems to be in spec. so I'll keep an eye on things.

Check the belt alignment, and be sure that the sprocket bolt is tight and that there is no wear in the sprocket bore or shaft splines. Also be sure the belt is tensioned to the latest (lowest) spec. If all that is OK, BRP is aware of the problem and is working on a solution.

As said above, Check Belt tension, and Check your drive pulley if its loose it will take out the main shaft spines. Then it becomes a very costly repair, But worst a long time in the shop to repair.

What ended up being the source of your creaking noise coming from the area of the countershaft? What fixed the issue? I am having a creaking noise coming from the area of the countershaft. Thanks!

I would make sure the sprocket teeth are not worn and tightened to the right torque - if not tight sprocket need to be taken off and inspected, my suspicion is the teeth on sprocket are worn - I have had this issue a few times now.
