    it is a throttle lock so you can lock the throttle and rest your hand while riding .

    Still think its a throttle lock. Here's a picture of a knobby turny thingy under the throttle box. Its not on a Spyder, but someone could have put one on.

    OK- FINALLY.... here is the picture you all have been waiting on... the rolly thing on the bottom of my throttle box.... Have at it-don't hold NO suggestions back... ( I don't think there's any more left, ya'll bout covered them all) It is on the very bottom of the module close to where the cable's come into the box....Anybody?????????????

    They can if they are a bit loose. I can't remember the inside of the housing, but that sure looks like a cable tie fastened from the inside to me.

    I was going to take a clear pic today, but don't have to since the mystery has been solved. Yes, I do have a throttle lock installed. By the way, it don't work that good with Kuryakyn ISO Grips.

    Yeah...yeah...the first pic is of a vista cruise throttle lock and the one Yazz has pictured is a throttle mate throttle lock. I'm wearing clean socks.
