Best Wax to use on Spyder.
Just wondering what product a lot of you were using to wax your spyders with? I know it makes the bugs come off easier, and also the dirt. and now it being "the OFF season" I want to get a coat of wax on.

I use Turtle Wax ICE as it doesn't leave white marks on the black.

Plexus Plastic Cleaner, Available at most bike shops.

I have always used Pledge on my motorcycles. Works great !!

This could have just as many opinions as which oil is better.

I use Fast Wax, that has Carnauba in it and lasts up to 6 weeks but for me, I use it often about once a month. For the seat, I use Shine & Go. I let it sit for 30 minutes, than wipe off. It doesn't make the seat slippery. For the console and lower black panels I use Moto-Tec Shine up Liquid and for the tire side walls, I use Tire Wet. I do not spray any of these on and spray it on a pad and than apply it. For the Windshield and faceshield on my helmet, I use Plexus. I will also remove the panels several times a year and use an anti corrosive on the engine when its cold and other bare metal parts. BRP dealers sell this and its called XP-S. This is used on Sea-Doo's and since I live close to the Gulf of Mexico, its recommended. Its also recommended for high humidity enviornments. For any chrome parts, I use Simichrome that has been out for years. After cleaning the wheels, I use Armor All Wheel Protectant.
I've been thinking about trying a wax with Teflon it it, the same stuff I use on my boat. I may try it on a small spot out of sight to see how this works and how long it lasts.

Ice is nice....
For a quick cleanup though; nothing beats good old Lemon Pledge...

I wash my RT with BRP Spyder wash and warm water and bugs come right off. I use Turtle wax ice as no white residue left behind.

I agree with 15. Used it in my Harley and now in my Spyder. Greatest stuff out there. I can get caught in rain and when bike dries NO spots

I use ICE. I have Plexus but found it leaves white marks on the black and is hard to get off.

210
I use 210 but like Plexis it can leave white residue on the black plastic so I spray it on a micro-fiber rag first. Use it all the time and my spyder always looks wet.

In a word "Zaino" is in it's own class if you want the best, all the show car guys know this.
I've used Zaino for over 9 years on my 2002 Chevy Avalanche before selling it recently with over 220,000 miles on it. Still looked new.
Use it on my 2002 Goldwing and I get lots of compliments - enough so my buddy that bought a 2011 RT Limited ordered Zaino for his bike.
Look for reviews on Zaino. I doubt you'll find a bad one. Overall, though it seems a little pricey up front, it really is used very sparingly and lasts forever so not only does it make your ride look great, it's really cheaper than auto parts store stuff.

I use Nu-Finish. It is a polymer and not really a "wax" but once a year before I put her to bed for the winter does the trick. www.nufinish.com if you want to check out some of the write-ups

I use FW1 and it is amazing. I can only find on ebay. ICE and Pledge without lemon are also pretty good.
Now...
I never had problems washing engines in cars or my bikes, however, I'm a little intimidated by the complexity of the RT and its components. I haven't had a need to wash her yet, but would like to hear from all of you. Thanks!
