Default Question for the Roscoe Diner group

We are planning on going to the Spyderfest this year in Cuba, MO. We were all signed up for last year but as you probably remember the weather around here was very cold and rainy and they were having the tornados and really bad weather out that way last year, so we cancelled. Hopefully this year it will be better........anyhow I was just wondering if any from the Saturday morning group at the Roscoe Diner were planning on going out there this year? Would love to ryde out with any or all of you that can make it or for that matter anyone who might be interested in going from the East.

Boy do I wish that would work! Unfortunately if I'm not here then my clients don't get their needs addressed... they go elsewhere and I starve after my Spyder is repossessed!

    Sigh...

No for next year, but count us in at Spyderfest 2013. I need to go and see for myself what all the fuss is about since they start threads on Spyderfest 10 months in advance. From what I heard, the MO gang can't ride and keep up with the NY Gawkers.

But one things for sure, I'm going to trailer it down there because I don't want 57,000 miles on mine.

    Default A contradiction it seems

Randy, Randy, Randy!!........You can't say this "From what I heard, the MO gang can't ride and keep up with the NY Gawkers." in one breath and then turn around with the next breath and say "But one things for sure, I'm going to trailer it down there because I don't want 57,000 miles on mine." Where's your pride man??!! You just can't make a statement like your former and then follow it up with one like your latter!! It is a contradiction of where your real heart is at man!! But we would still love to have you come if you could keep up with the.

    oooooooooooooo--is there a controversy brewing?

Bob: I know what your talking about when it comes to getting away.
Supposed to be in my retirement years. I just took on a 3rd Financial Director P/T job. With my University teaching--I now have 4 P/T jobs. No vacation this summer--and looks like it will be doubtful for next year also.

Well the only way to resolve my error is to print a retraction and ride to Spyderfest in 2013. Holly will definitely trade our Spyder in for a 2013 RT Spyderfest Edition at Cowtown for the ride home.

Even The President takes time off.
I was Owner, President, Bookkeeper, and Chief Craftsman, And some of my customers would say,

You're only a thousand miles from Cuba. You don't want to miss out on Spyderfest. I went this year even with all the bad weather. I'm glad I did. They welcomed me with a downpour right after I checked into the motel. I think they call it a Missouri shower and car wash (bike wash in our case). They make it up to you after with their hospitality. Come on April.

To close to Americade, the biggest touring event in the country. Starts June 4th, I think I will go there. To many vacations and not enough time or money.

Randy don't pay them any attention. I would toy haul in as well and camp. I would never be able to bring my wife if I was to ride out.

I road up and done the motel thing at $100+ and I've done the toy hauler at $50 with some food saving. This is much prefered, especially when you have friends camping with you.

Well I do have to admit that my Missus's idea of camping is when room service is limited to pizza from the shop next door...

Camping today can be like rolling your house and garage down the road and setting up shop in less than an hour, just on a smaller scale.

Spyderfest is worth the trip regardless of the weather. I'll be coming from Las Vegas next year and I can't wait.
