I have a left over 09 with 233 miles already DPS fault, the 12 years I owned my Harley not one problem not one and I could get on it and not worry about some stupid fault sending machine to limp mode miles from home.

If you've got a 'New' 2009 it should have all of the current updates. Get it back to the dealer an have them get it right. Once your Spyder is right you'll love it.
No matter what you ride you can find someone that had issues with it.

My Harley didn't want to go anywhere most of the time. A friend of mine could not use her Harley for 3 consecutive weekends. What a bummer!!!
If you don't change anything,,,
nothing is going to change!

Would your HD have been included? Nothing is perfect.

Harley Davidson just recalled 308,000 motorcycles for brake failures due to high heat generated by exhaust system.

No I sold it after twelve years for better than half I paid for it,was a 2000 RK I don't think a Spyder will hold that value.Half the time the dealer looks at you like a deer in headlights. Sure a lot of bashing on here anymore.

+Make that two. My '94 Sportster remains my most reliable bike TO the 100,000-mile point. The Spyder might make it next. Several others weren't as reliable to that point, but the '99 Victory was dead on reliable for its last 87,000 miles past 200,000.
Nuthin' wrong with H-D, simply not my cup of tea again at the moment.
Ride on.
