    Default Wheel Nut removal

The tool kit supplied with my 2010 Spyder RT -S SES MODEL
Did not come with a wheel brace - wheel nut removal tool

Can someone confirm what type of socket is needed to undo the wheel
nuts - I understand from the Parts picture they are listed as
    M12X1.5
I'm not sure what that means as we tend to use metric sockets here
    e.g 19mm 20mm etc

Is there a special tool or can a normal socket wrench with the correct
    socket be used ok

    Thanks for any Infor

Here in the States we call those Wheel nuts they screw on wheel studs
to secure wheel to ..I beleive 19mm or 20mm socket is correct I would have to check to be sure, Here I use 13 16th thin wall socket..

Lug nut and it's 21mm, You can use a deep socket.

13/16fits better than the metric. I just took a wheel nut to Lowes and matched it up with the best fitting thin wall socket. I just got back about 1&1/2 hr. Ago.

A standard socket can be used providing it is the proper size. If the socket is sloppy it will damage the nuts slightly.
By the way, thanks for the previous info re: bluetooth. It works quite well.

Go to sears and buy a good set of metric wrenches. The ones with the in between sizes. Like 10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 ans so on. They will fit american nuts and bolts as well as metric. I have been using this method for years, this way you don't need two sets of tools.
